Prepare yourself to be swept away with breathtaking views at this quaint, charming beach cottage. We gladly introduce you to one of our newest vacation rentals, Sunflower Cottage! This home boasts magnificent views of the Bay, offering a prime location to one of the Shore's coolest little beach towns. Upon entering your vacation home, Sunflower Cottage welcomes you into the enclosed porch - perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or an evening libation. Bountiful views are featured from this room, as well as most every room in the home! Sunflower Cottage offers two bedrooms, one full bathroom, and there is plenty of seating outdoors if you like to dine al fresca. Amenities also include an outdoor shower and a large bench seat/patio area overlooking the water. Walk down the steps at low tide and stick your toes in the sand right in your own back yard!  To complete the vacation package, Cape Charles is a short drive away with some of the best restaurants, shops, and of course the beach for your enjoyment. Make sure to reserve your golf cart in advance- this is the best way to visit the town.

"Sunflower cottage"

Had a great time. The cottage is perfect. We caught crabs and mackerel right in the backyard. Will be booking again next year.

"Lovely Quite Cottage on the Chesapeake Bay"

After many year on the Jersey Shore we were looking for a more intimate setting for our family to spend quality time together and to decompress form a stressful 2023. We found all of this in Sea-Salt Cottage along the Chesapeake Bay. Secluded in farm land 20 minutes drive from "Cape Charles" this seaside home served our family of five nicely for movie nights, barbecues, conversation and sun bathing the shore of the bay. The house is older yet spotlessly clean with plenty of space for all five of we adults. The kitchen is small with an older four-burner range and oven that worked out fine for us, during our week we ate at home four of the five nights. Nice bedrooms, a double and a twin, a pull our sofa in the living room made for plenty of room for us to sleep comfortably. The bathroom is small with a shower, very clean again was perfect for our family of five, The garden is large leading to a wooded Bay overlook where you can bathe in the Bay or or sip a cocktail listening to the water ripple just by your feet. Things to Ponder: 1. This house is 20 minutes from Cape Charles which is also your nearest locations for Restaurants and Shops. 2.We rented a golf cart that we did not need, save your money. It is too far to drive into Cape Charles, we used it to explore a bit around our area but had it picked up a day early as we did not need it. 3. There is plenty of parking and the shore line is really quite, just what we were looking at for our family. 4. Lea, our host was wonderful, supplied with all the information we needed and had the house set up spotless, with Clean Linen, Towels,Dish cloths etc, very impressed at how clean and tidy the property was on our arrival. In finishing I must say, I would spend time in this location again in a heart beat, we all had a great time. Thank You - Lea and Team.
