Lovely and secluded. Close enough to all the shops we love.

Our second time at this wonderful property. We truly enjoyed the dock in the back - caught numerous fish and crabs - and were surprised the mosquitos didn't bother us much - likely due to the wind - but definitely a peaceful place to spend some time. Unfortunately, this trip, it was a little cool to get in the pool - but we did anyway. Our previous visit, we spent every day floating away ... Would definitely recommend this property and the rental agency - all an A+. Thanks for a great vacation. Will be sure to return again.

Island Estate was a great place to relax, enjoy nature, and feel a little secluded. Our grandchildren could run around outside and enjoy the pool without us worrying about them getting into traffic or disturbing neighbors. The home was well appointed and spacious and very welcoming. The owners were so kind and welcoming they felt like family! We will be back!

Enjoyed our stay at Island Estate. The rooms are spacious, lots of seating and gathering areas, kitchen well-equipped. A large dining area and plenty of food prepping space. The pool is great and fishing offnl the dock is fun. Convenient to the beach or town. Don't miss the frequent wildlife visitors - ducks, geese, deer and other birds. Could hear multiple great horned owls in the yard at night! All in all, one of the best rental properties I've stayed in during our 11+ years of renting on CI.

We have been staying at Chincoteague since I was about 8.. we come just about every year! Sure miss Skippers! And the old Steamers... I hope Ray's, Mr Whippys, Baldys and Gary Howard's never go... I digress... this is my favorite house! Only thing if I could change anything would be to have a more equipped kitchen... we like to stay in as much as possible... lol too peopley sometimes... thank you for a very relaxing weekend!

Very clean and a wonderful spot to stay for pony penning week!

Four generations of our family enjoyed a return visit to the wonderful Isalnd Estate on Chincoteague. An ideal oottage for a large family week. We already put a deposit down for next July. It's perfect for us.

My entire family (from age 59 to 1) enjoyed our week at Island Estate. My grandchildren loved the pool and loved to crab and fish from the pier. There was plenty of room for everyone. I particularly loved sitting on the porch in one of the rockers or the swing. We had the opportunity to speak to Anne, the owner, who was very nice and accommodating.

House was lovely and landlords were wonderful. I was there because I needed some rest and relaxation and Island Estste was perfect for that. Enjoyed my week very much.

we loved getting to know Don and Anne of Island Estate! They are wonderful.However, we were surprised to discover that your agency is not handicap friendy. we had a handicap accessible bathroom but no other items were available for rent. Having to dismantle, haul and assemble a hospital bed from home then do it all over again at the end of the week was added stress for us. We would have gladly paid for the convenience of ha ing one installed before our arrival. There were no other items mentioned for rent for handicapped individuals, either.I'm giving ratings based on the rental agency in general however Kaitlyn and Daen were AWESOME in their compassionate responses to our situation.

The house we stayed at was wonderful, had tons of space, everything we needed, was clean, had a nice pool and location was ideal to see all kinds of wildlife. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and truly had a wonderful vacation. Photo above was taken while sitting on the front porch of our rental.

Our family of 10 and two dogs spent a week at Island Estate. The home was well appointed. There was plenty of room to stay together or to spend some quiet time alone. We really enjoyed the pool and all the outside spaces. The rental office was wonderful- very friendly, professional and truly present to help in any issues that may come up.

Wonderful! Island Estate is a secluded gem. great family friendly home. plenty of room and spotless! large family of 13 truly enjoyed. Got a chance to meet the owners, very warm and friendly couple. We will definitely return to Island Estate .

Let me just start off by saying the property is very secluded. It is off the road and down a winding driveway. The house is setback in a natural setting. My family and I stayed here for our annual fall weekend retreat. The house was spotless, everything was neat and clean. The pool was closed for the season, but we did receive permission from the owners to use it, but; it was too cold for us to swim. The bedrooms were equipped with our own conditioning/heating units, so we were able to control our level of comfort. Each bedroom had a television with cable and Netflix. The sunroom/theatre room had plenty of seating. The dining room and kitchen were very spacious with enough room for our large group. They had every appliance and plenty of pots and pans and utensil to prepare our family meals. The younger generation played videos games and the whole family enjoyed watching a movie together on the large screened television. The family also enjoyed the bay window, we took pictures and were able to view the lovely butterfly garden and to watch all the different species of fowl that were on the property. You can crab and fish from the dock outback, but we just enjoyed chatting and viewing the area. We enjoyed sitting on the huge porch with ample seating and country swing. We used the huge gas grill to cook ribs and chicken and the family just enjoyed! The property owners were very nice. They allowed our family to take home the seashells that were decoratively placed around the property. We were a large clan of 13 from 1 yrs. to 74 years and a great time was had by all!

Absolutely gorgeous home. Rooms are much bigger than they look in photos! Private dock is great for crabbing and kayaking! Pool was very refreshing and a huge plus! Plenty of room for everyone!! Air conditioned! Full kitchen with way more equipment than I expected! Beautifully decorated! Butterfly garden in the front yard. Pool toys in the deck box. Beach items in the garage.I actually got to meet the owners and they are wonderful, down to earth, knowledgable about the island, nature loving couple. It was like meeting up with old friends!We would be staying there again next year, if my daughter-in-law wasn't allergic to cats.It's a dream home!!
