The house over all was good. Shame people have to damage things, the refrigerator had all the door shelves broken and the ice maker also. The house was clean and had plenty of room for the grandkids. Already booked for next year. Coastal was very easy to work with.

We loved this house. Everything was perfect. The only thing less than perfect was that my daughter said she had some ants in her bedroom, the one at the top of the stairs on the right. I would also recommend getting a brush to clean the grill and a basting brush for the grill.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean and the appliances were impressive. Our biggest complaint with the house was no good reading lights. Everything else was great. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of birds to watch.

House was a nice space. Needed a deep clean especially the bamboo floors and the couch needs a steam clean! We liked the design and layout. There was lots of beds for a big family visit. The back porch was a relaxing place, screened in so no bugs. But it also needed a power wash and wipe down of all furniture.

The house was great and the kitchen was well-equipped which was key for me. Lea at CRV, however gets the best part of the review. She was out of this world good. She was responsive to the cleanliness issue and resolved the issue immediately. I would definitely rent this house again. And most definitely would want to deal with Lea again.

Overall our stay here was very pleasant. It started off a little rough as the last vacationers trashed the house so the cleaner took longer and we were not able to enter the house for several hours after the agreed upon time. However the rental company compensated us for our trouble quite well and it was much appreciated. In general there were more beds that we anticipated and everything was to be as expected. Our family had a great time!

We have been staying with Chincoteague Resort Vacations for years. The staff is always helpful, professional, and is an absolute pleasure to work with. If any issues arise, they quickly get to work to address them. This year we had a few issues with check-in related to the cleanliness of the rental. The issues were not the fault of the cleaners or the rental agency, it was just one of those things that happens and was really out of their control. I reached out to the staff at the rental agency about the issues and we came up with a plan to address the them that we were comfortable and happy with. As for Blue Sea Star, this place is spacious with an open floor design. It is nice for entertaining large groups with a big kitchen that is equipped with everything that you need to prepare meals. The dining room table is huge and provided ample room for the group to eat. One of the bedrooms has enough beds to sleep eight, which was a perfect space for all of the kids in our group to sleep and served as their hang out for the week. The shower in the master bath is very nice with two shower heads, one of which is ceiling mounted and very relaxing. Most of the televisions are internet connected and allowed us to log into our Netflix and Disney+ accounts for relaxing before bedtime and after the kids had enough of the beach. Some of the furniture shows wear and a few of the bedroom doors stick, but these were minor issues that didn't bothered us. The house is a short drive out of town, which provides for a quiet, secluded area. The back yard is spacious and was a great place to play fetch with our dog. The shape of the driveway was a little tricky to navigate with two trucks, a car, and a boat, but we were able to make due by parking the boat in the driveway that extends along the side of the house, and parked the three vehicles in the circular driveway. Overall we loved the house and the location. We would definitely recommend this house to family and friends.

Our experience with Chincoteague Resort agency was great - prompt response, no issues. The house, on the other hand, has room for improvement. The house feels like a rental money-making property with a goal of maximizing returns. Two of the three bedroom doors don't fit into the door frames and won't close. The walls are banged up. Furniture appears to have been left outside at some point and has bubbled up. Silverware appears to have come from the dollar store. Knives are dull. One of the upstairs bedrooms has beds for 8(!) people. There are A LOT of beds in the house to fit a lot of people. Refrigerator shelf was broken off and was left on top of the refrigerator. House location is nice - quiet and peaceful. Chincoteague is always great.

The home was spacious and had a great location. A few things that should be given some attention to is the upstairs bathtub is clogged and the water takes a long time to drain. The ice maker did not work so we bought bags of ice and put them in the freezer for our drinks. The screen is torn on the back porch door. The detergent tray in the washing machine is moldy and really needs sanitized and cleaned. Last but not least, the air could have been turned down a few degrees. It was set on 73 and it was hot at night. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would come back. The things I mentioned above are not deal breakers but more of minor inconveniences. I will say my family and I left the home cleaner than what we walked into. There were dust bunnies on the floor along with sand when we first arrived. We took a good portion of our last day to clean the floors which was disappointing because we did pay a cleaning fee initially. I highly recommend this home to any large families who are looking for a place to stay while at Chincoteague Island. Hope to come back in 2022.

A beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. House was nice and we made it work. Wifi never worked but the rental company did try to fix it on day 4. We decided to let the issue go. Be warned to check internet if you check in on a Saturday because the company is closed on Sunday.Lastly, while the house was clean, the floors were filthy. Broom swept for sure but after moving out items in and being barefoot on the hardwood for an hour our feet were black with dirt. Went to Family Dollar and bought swifter wipes to clean for our remaining time.

This house is in a quiet area which is great. The house has room to park 3 cars. We had an F250 and a boat which was not good. The circular driveway is impractical for a rental. The other problem outside was the poison ivy. It is everywhere. One of the landscape plants in the front is all poison ivy. Only one of us got it though. Had to buy a few kitchen items for cooking. Someone should weed through the excess - 3 coffee makers and toasters and nowhere to store groceries. The beds were comfortable, if oddly distributed, but there was room for everyone. We would not rent this unit again due to the driveway (had to store the boat at a marina). The house itself and the neighbors were great.

This home is well situated within Chincoteague and everything is easy to get to. The house was great for our family although the upstairs bathroom is a bit small. We found all that we needed in the kitchen to fix several seafood meals at the house. We could have used a dishcloth and dishtowel for the kitchen but made do with a bath cloths and towels. It was worth the extra expense to get linens and towels provided and they were waiting when we arrived. The floors are wood-vinyl and perfect for sand and a young, active family! Some of the living furniture was quite "used" but functional. The dining room table is huge and easily accommodated all 8 of us. More room at the bar area. Kitchen appliances were great and there were lots of plates, cups, silverware so we didn't have to run the dishwasher constantly. Shower in the master bath is wonderful!!

House was nice. Great space. Open floor plan made it great for the family. Big kitchen table great for meals but even better for games at night. Needs outdoor shower and it would be perfect

This is our 6th summer to spend time on Chincoteague Island. It's a great family friendly place. Chincoteague Resort Vacations is very good to work with. Quick response to after hours emergency calls.I would have given 5 stars but upon arrival, the shower stall on the main floor had a lot of hair in it, as did the bathroom floor and the AC was not allowed to be set lower than 72 degrees, which was too warm, especially on the second floor. Also, a good spill in the refrigerator was not cleaned out resulting in a unpleasant smell. The HVAC developed a leak in the ceiling of the master bedroom resulting in a water mess dripping onto the floor and clothing and requiring us to turn of the HVAC system. This definitely made the house uncomfortably warm. But we understand such things happen. Our emergency after hours call was returned within 5 minutes and the gentleman who came out was very polite and professional. All in all, we greatly enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Sea Star. It was a relaxing week filled with fun and lots of laughter.

We stayed during pony penning week and it was awesome. Lovely property. Very friendly neighbors. The area was close enough to all fun stuff to do. Will def be staying at this location again:)
