Meet at 8am for boarding at Curtis Merritt Harbor. Each boat will head out to the waterways to fish for whatever may be biting and fish till about 10:30am. This event will take place with bay fishing charter boats volunteering their services to introduce Chincoteague Area children ages 7-13 to the sport of fishing. We focus on safety and navigation during the trip. There will be a cookout of hamburgers and hot dogs after their catch is cleaned. Each participant will receive a gift for taking part in the "Kids Fishing Day". (Volunteer chaperones are also needed for each boat to assist in any manner they can.)
